Ariel Cassell
Ariel Cassell (12) is starting her senior year; this will be her fourth and final year on staff. She became Editor-in-Chief in her junior year and will continue to hold this position until she passes the torch in May. The Trojan Tribune has been a significant part of Ariel’s life these past several years and will continue to influence her life in the future. The skills she has learned, such as communication, teamwork, leadership, working under a strict deadline, writing, and editing, have helped her through numerous classes and working for NWILife.com.

Ariel has made varsity volleyball this year and hopes in the spring to make varsity softball if Covid-19 allows her to do so. Although she is not entirely sure what she would like to major in, she hopes to attend either IU Bloomington or Franklin College next fall. Ariel hopes to be able to travel the world someday, visiting different countries and cultures. She started this journey last summer when she traveled to Ecuador and the Galápagos Islands. That unique experience jump started her love of traveling. Ariel loves to read, write, stay active, and live in the moment with her friends and family!
