Valentine’s Day is is right around the corner and what better gift than to see a family member after being ten months away from each other.
Last Friday, during her seventh period, sophomore Hollie Fox was surprised to find her mother, Master Sergeant Tanya Fox-Moeller, waiting for her in the main office. To some, seeing their mom is no big deal because they see her everyday see but this was not the case for Fox. Her mom was stationed in Kuwait for ten months, so having her mom waiting for her with open arms was an emotional experience.
“I was really excited to the point I was crying, because I was so happy to see her,” said Fox.
Attached video shows Fox walking into the office to find her mother, overjoyed to be reunited.
“(My mom) is here for an unknown amount of time, but I’m enjoying the time I have with her now,” said Fox.
