This year’s Pitbulls and Pierogies, held by ABRA inc., was located at Wicker Park. The event was held on Sunday, October 9.

The event had a multitude of raffles available for anyone to enter. Prizes included gift baskets, tickets, clothing, and larger items.

A DJ played music for all of the guests to enjoy while they entered raffles and ate food.

What’s Pitbulls and Pierogies without some pitbulls? This handsome boy welcomed all to pet him.

Cats were also dressed up for adoption. This sweetheart, however, was not for adoption, but she still pranced around in her pink dress.

The event provided guests with a wide array of foods and desserts.

Key Clubbers volunteered, serving food and desserts.

There was also a bake sale available, offering up homemade treats. Guests also had the option of taking their food home instead of eating at the event.

The event had two lines, one of which featured vegetarian/vegan foods.

Food offered included stuffed cabbage, sauerkraut and sausage, cabbage and noodles, potato pancakes, and of course pierogies.

Tickets were available in the front of the pavilion for food. ABRA inc. also sold apparel and home decor.

WOOF advertised their treats at the event.

Imperfect Pet Treats featured their products in a Halloween theme.

These five to six month old kittens were up for adoption.

Pierogies and other dishes were provided by Dan’s Pierogies.

The raffle marked the end of the event. Over 20 prizes were distributed.

Some guests bought dozens of tickets.

One of the younger guests did the honor of pulling tickets from the bags.

Larger prizes included a travel dog bed, fireplace, Corona products, and t-shirt blanket.
