A toad was found roaming the science hall during first hour on Tuesday morning. Senior Katy Bedka informed Biology teacher Nicole Weber of the loose animal. Weber quickly saved the little guy from being trampled or lost.

The toad will be kept safe in a container in Weber’s room until release.
“(I plan on releasing the toad) either at the end of today or early tomorrow morning. I’m just trying to give teachers enough time to make sure it wasn’t somebody’s class pet,”said Weber on Tuesday.
The toad is believed to have sneaked in from the outside.

The toad was released this Wednesday morning by students from Weber’s 1st hour class and a neighboring study hall.

Now safe and sound, the toad is out of the building.
