This past Friday, the Trojans were on the road at the Brickyard. The Trojans kicked off the to the Hobart (Brickies) to start the game off. With the Trojans coming out on defense first, they did a good job holding the Brickies to three plays and then punting the ball so that our offense could take a shot against the Brickie defense. After a few back and forths on defense and offense from the Trojans, the Brickies finally broke a long run play and scored a touchdown, making the score 7-0 Hobart.

The Trojans soon came back though, with good hard running from our starting running back senior Kaiden Smolar. We drove down the Brickie field for a passing touchdown to senior Trent Slaven, 7-7.

The Brickies battled against our defense to get in with the red zone. Once they got within the five yard line, they started running their wildcat formation for another Brickie touchdown. With less than a minute before halftime, Hobart is now in the lead with a score of 14-7.

On our own 26 yard line, we threw an interception on a bubble route for a touchdown right before halftime. Score now being 21-7

The Trojans came out of half time amped and ready to go for another half of Friday night football. The Trojans, now receiving the ball on the kickoff to start their offensive drive, were slowly driving down field before we had to punt the ball away. The Brickies, again going for the run game, got another touchdown; the score now 28-7.

After the Brickies kicked the ball, the Trojan offense drove the ball down the field where a pass was thrown to Slaven for another Trojan touchdown. The score was now 28-14.

With this being the last touchdown of the night and the clock hitting zero the Trojans lose on the road 28-14 against the Hobart Brickies.
