Robotics club is not here yet, but it is on its way of becoming an official club. Highland is one of the only schools in Lake County that does not have a robotics club. This new club will compete at events and competitions against other schools in the area.

The club was formed by a group of students who expressed interest in this topic. The club’s sponsor, Rodney Glenn, is the principle engineering teacher.

Even though the club has not officially been approved, it is well on its way. So far about twenty students have expressed interest in this club.
Multiple students, however, have not heard about this club. Those who have classes with Glenn or are friends with someone in that class are the only one who know about it. When students found out about the club, most of them said that they would join if they had time.

“No, but I would think about it if I had time,” Said Sophomore Hannah Rebey
