Do you have an interest in learning about foreign environments? If so, you should consider embarking on a trip to the Galápagos Islands with Environmental Science teacher Nicole Weber.

This trip will take place July 2019. The estimated cost of the trip is approximately 4,000 dollars.

“This trip is about the ecosystem of Ecuador. We will be visiting ecosystems where you can see rainforests, different island ecosystems, the marine ocean ecosystems, as well as seeing a volcano,” Weber says, “Although there are no lesson plans for the days. We’re going to be out there learning every day.”

If you previously had Weber as a teacher, you would know that she travels to many exotic locations.

“In my classroom, I’ve always talked about the traveling that I have done, but I wanted to find a way to bring my students into that experience without just telling them about those experiences,” Weber says.

There are still spots open for those who are interested. Visit Weber in room 602 for more information.
